PHD Scholarship: Interaction of nanoparticles and selected emerging contaminants in sewage sludge systems

Thursday, 4 May 2017

A PhD scholarship opportunity is available for a student to the interaction of nanoparticles and selected emerging contaminants in sewage sludge systems under the supervision of  Dr Yanju Liu.

This project involves investigation of the interaction mechanisms between selected nanoparticles and emerging contaminants that mostly occur in sewage sluge system, which will define their fate and behaviour in the wastewater treatment plant and the environment. The student has the opportunity to use various characterisation techniques and analytical instruments to reveal the interaction mechanisms.
