Religion's new visibility in political life has provoked one of the most significant global debates of our day. This program directly intervenes by interrogating religion's dynamic interactions with democratic authority, radicalism, gender and the legacies of colonial nation building.
The complexity of these four areas demands the interdisciplinary rigour demonstrated by this program's team of internationally recognised, leading-edge researchers on religion. Working together they will propel the debate in vital new directions and promote urgently needed public understanding.
