Projects
The Centre is recognised as a leading provider of social research services throughout regional Australia and has established research collaborations with the NSW Government. Driven to provide solutions to advance national policy, the Centre is working to progress a number of research projects in areas such as primary industry development; generational health issues in rural areas; risk and engagement for major projects; and local government shared learning frameworks. Current research projects include:

The Centre aims to develop solid networks and partnerships to build and share research knowledge through international research collaborations. Through these valuable international collaborations the Centre is able to better examine and understand the complex global social issues relating to economic development, resilient communities, as well as the value of equitable land use, energy innovations and regional planning.
These successful international collaborations are achieved by harnessing expertise from diverse research areas including sociology, anthropology, social work, education, history and planning. This diversity amongst researchers enables the Centre to develop comprehensive and meaningful solutions to shape progressive policy and programs that will facilitate change within communities.
