The Centre for Organic Electronics is focused on next generation environmentally friendly energy by developing new electronic devices at the intersection between semiconductors and plastics.

Priority Research Centre for
ORGANIC ELECTRONICS

About Us

The Priority Research Centre for Organic Electronics is focused on the scientific challenges in the development of organic photovoltaics for the next generation of environmentally friendly energy sources, photonics and biosensors.

The Centre for Organic Electronics is the first of its kind in Australia. It is an exciting new initiative focusing on the development of new electronic devices at the intersection between semiconductors and plastics.

The Centre will focus on the scientific challenges in the development of organic photovoltaics, with massive potential for the next generation of environmentally friendly energy sources, photonics and biosensors.

Through partnership with the CSIRO Division of Energy Technology (CET), the Centre will have the unique capability of taking fundamental research through to large scale fabrication and evaluation.
