What is a program?
A program is the collection of courses constructed in an approved sequence to form a coherent program leading to one of the awards of the University. For example, the Bachelor of Science program leads to the Bachelor of Science degree.
How can I improve my searches?
Results are returned based on "keywords" entered into the search field. To improve your searches, use the drop down controls to limit the results by discipline, level of study and location. For extra search options, use the extended search option.
How do I search by phrase instead of keyword(s)?
By default, a search will be performed using "keywords" instead of "phrases". To perform a search as a phrase, simply enclose the phrase in quotation marks (" ").
e.g. "Bachelor of Arts"
To further improve results, the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols can be added to the start of phrases for smarter results. For example, the following query will return all ''Bachelor of Arts'' programs but not Honours.
e.g. +"Bachelor of Arts" -"Honours"
Why don't I get any results when I am searching?
Receiving no results from a search is usually due to spelling mistakes or being too specific in the query. Try entering general keywords relating to the program(s) for which you are searching.
Why can't I find my combined or double degree?
All programs have been entered into our search engine. However, a common cause of "missing" results when searching for a combined or double degree program is due to the use of reserved characters in a search query. Always try to use common words when performing a search and replace non-alphanumerical characters with a space.
For example, when searching for "Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts," use the query Teaching Arts instead of Teaching/Arts.
Can I search by course?
If you have already completed some courses at the University and want to view the programs that contain these courses, try entering the relevant course codes as a query.
e.g. DRAM1010, MATH1010, CMNS1000, FILM1010
What should I do if I find a mistake with my program?
