The Master of Applied Management (Health) is designed for public health managers, administrators, clinicians and medical practitioners with a need to acquire essential management skills while expanding and upgrading their clinical and specialist competencies.
Graduates will develop a strong portfolio of skills that can be applied to day-to-day operations of community health facilities. These will be both health based and management based. There is a wide selection of management courses available, allowing students to tailor the program to their personal needs.

Completion of a Bachelors Degree in a Health Field and 3 years relevant Health/Allied Health Work Experience.
The Health Promotion Specialisation has no new intake in 2009.

Credit may be available for previous studies on the basis of an individual assessment for each applicant. Credit will be awarded in accordance with University Policy and Faculty Guidelines. The Master of Applied Management (Health) program is an 80 unit program. Students are required to complete five compulsory health courses (50 units) and three courses (30 units) from the Directed Course options.

The Health Promotion Specialisation has no new intake in 2009. Only students already undertaking the Health Promotion specialisation will be able to enrol in HPRO6710 and HPRO6750. Students enrolling in 2010 or after will not be able to undertake specialisations.
