The Bachelor of Management is available only to students who have already commenced the program. Those students should contact a Faculty of Business and Law Program Officer for further information. New students wishing to study management, should refer to the Bachelor of Business program.
Effective management is the key to any successful business and to be an effective manager you need the right skills and the right training. The Bachelor of Management degree has been designed to reflect the contemporary business and commercial environments in both the private and public sectors and to equip you for work nationally and internationally.

The Bachelor of Management degree program prepares graduates for extensive national and global career opportunities or for further study. Graduates pursue careers in areas such as human resource management, training and development, marketing, finance and banking,
advertising, management consulting, accounting, public relations, public sector management and small/medium businesses.

Back to topProfessional Accreditation (click to hide)
Accreditation arrangements are in place with the Australian Marketing Institute, professional accounting bodies (CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia) and the Australian Computer Society. Graduates may apply for membership of these bodies in accordance with the accreditation arrangements that have been negotiated. Graduates working in the finance industry can apply for associate membership with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

To complete the degree, students must pass courses totalling 240 units (generally made up of 24 courses worth 10 units each). The program has three distinct components: Core courses, a Major Sequence including compulsory courses, and Elective Courses.
The 240 units required to complete the degree must include:
- All 1000 level Core Courses;
- A major sequence in either Accounting, Management, Information Technology or Marketing;
- No more than 100 units at 1000 level;
- At least 60 units at 3000 level.
