This combined degree program provides students with the opportunity to increase the depth and breadth of their study in relevant disciplines within Business and Commerce whilst completing two awards over four years of full-time study or part-time equivalent.
A combined degree program enhances the academic and professional qualities gained in each separate degree. At the same time, it recognises the increasing need for students to graduate with multidisciplinary skills.

Career choices for combined degree graduates are diverse and can include positions in business management, retail management, advertising and promotions management, human resource management, industrial relations, marketing, small and medium enterprise management, tourism and hospitality management, foreign economic relations, international trade, international marketing and investments. Career choices for graduates with an Accounting Major are diverse and include positions in chartered accounting, public practise, auditing, tax, management, public sector accounting and not-for-profit sector accounting.
The Finance Major enables graduates to work in international banking, international finance, investment management, treasury management, money market operations and financial forecasting.

To complete the program, students must pass courses totalling 320 units (generally made up of 32 courses worth 10 units each).
The 320 units required to complete the program must include:
- All core courses listed,
- A Major sequence from the Bachelor of Business, including all compulsory and directed courses,
- A Major sequence from the Bachelor of Commerce, including all compulsory and directed courses,
- Elective courses.
- No more than 110 units at 1000 level
- At least 80 units at the 3000 level.
