The Bachelor of Business is one of the most popular and dynamic degrees offered by the Faculty of Business and Law. It is a three year full-time (or equivalent part-time) program which starts with broad core courses and then progresses to one of the seven major sequences of study offered in the degree: Human Resource Management, Information Systems in Business, International Business, Management, Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Tourism.
Elective courses are available in many areas including Business Law, Information Systems, Statistics, Japanese, Philosophy, Finance, Accounting, Leisure and Tourism Studies, Politics and Business Economics.
The program has a practical orientation, with students learning from case studies of real business situations.

Students choosing a double major need to undertake 60 or 70 units unique to the second major in place of elective courses.
The majors available at Ourimbah are Human Resource Management, Marketing, Management and Tourism. At UON Singapore the majors offered are Marketing and Management, Marketing and Tourism.
Back to topRequirements and Structure
To complete the degree, students must pass courses totalling 240 units (generally made up of 24 courses worth 10 units each). The academic program has three distinct components: core courses, a major sequence and elective courses.
To satisfy the requirements for the Bachelor of Business degree program you must complete:
- A total of 240 units (24 courses worth 10 units each)
- No more than 100 units at the 1000 (first year) level
- At least 60 units at the 3000 (third year) level
- The Core Bachelor of Business courses are compulsory for all students and consist of six courses at the first year (1000) level, four courses at the second year (2000) level and one course at the third year (3000) level
- The Compulsory and Directed courses for at least one major sequence totalling 60 units
- The remaining units (electives) can be chosen from any discipline area within the University.
Please note that some courses in the major sequences listed below may require additional assumed knowledge other than the compulsory courses within the major.
