Biography

Kenneth is from Greenock, Scotland and was ordained as a minister within the Church of Scotland in 1991. He was an Assistant Minister in Skene, Aberdeenshire, before going to Arbroath where he ministered within three rural congregations for 11 years. Thereafter he moved to Australia with his family and took up a ministry position within the Uniting Church at Morisset. From there he went to the United Theological College, a training college of the Uniting Church in Australia, and it is from there that he comes to us. Kenneth is the recently appointed minister at Kincumber Uniting Church on the Central coast.

Research expertise

From his time as an undergraduate in theology Kenneth has maintained an interest in the field of Practical Theology.

Following his theological studies Kenneth studied psychology and is interested in the interaction and debate between psychology and religion.

Kenneth is currently involved in teaching the first year 'Introduction to Theology' course, and leads the class in The Doctrine of God: Trinitarian Theology; Ecclesiology: Church and Sacraments; and Eschatology: Last Things. In Second Semester Kenneth will be teaching a course on Psychology of Religion.

Currently Kenneth is supervising two theology PhD students.
