Biography
I began my career as a secondary History/English teacher, and spent 18 years working in schools as a classroom teacher. In 2007 I moved into education consultancy, working with schools and groups of teachers on professional learning and the NSW Quality Teaching model. In 2008 I joined the School of Education at the University of Newcastle, where I am based at the Callaghan Campus. I have a strong interest in innovative pedagogy and teacher professional learning, and I continue to work with schools in these areas.
