Admission to Candidature
1. An applicant for admission to candidature for the degree of Doctor of Clinical Psychology shall have satisfied the requirements for admission to a four year undergraduate degree in psychology that has been accredited by the Australian Psychological Society Ltd.
2. In addition to the requirements of clause 1 an applicant:

Would normally be expected to have had several years of relevant professional experience; or
-
Submit evidence of professional or other relevant experience as may be approved by the Pro Vice-Chancellor; and
-
Must be eligible for conditional registration as a psychologist with the Psychologists Registration Board of New South Wales.
Qualification for the Degree
3. To qualify for admission to the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology degree, a candidate shall satisfactorily complete a program of study approved by the Academic Senate totalling not less than 240 units. The degree program will include a research component of not less than 80 units and five clinical placements which contribute 10 units each.
