Classification
1. The degree of Master of Clinical Psychology shall be a degree by coursework offered in the Faculty of Science and Information Technology.
Admission to Candidature
2. An applicant for admission to candidature shall:
(a) have satisfied the requirements for admission to a four year undergraduate degree in Psychology that has been accredited by the Australian Psychological Society Ltd, at a standard approved for this purpose by the Pro Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Head of School; and
(b) possess such other qualifications or professional experience, and/or other relevant attributes as may be approved by the Pro Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Head of School; and
Qualification for the Degree
3. To qualify for admission to the Master of Clinical Psychology, a candidate shall satisfactorily complete a program of study approved by the Academic Senate totalling not less than 160 units, including:
(a) A research component of not less than 30 units; and
(b) Clinical placements of not less than 40 units.
