PhD Scholarship - Behavioural / Experimental Economics and Disasters

A PhD scholarship is available to investigate Behavioural / Experimental Economics and Disasters under the supervision of Dr David Savage.
The candidate will be required to do joint research using applied microeconomics predominantly in the areas of Behavioural and Experimental Economics, specifically examining disasters. This could for example include the experiments on disaster preferences for mitigation or insurance; service provisions of NGO or government; or resource allocation. However, there is potential for the candidate to explore research in a field setting. The value of this scholarship is $25, 849 p.a. (2015 rate). The scholarship is for a period of 3 years.
Candidates should have a Masters in Economics (or equivalent), knowledge of Experimental Economics and Software-skills. High-level written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
This scholarship is available to International and Australian candidates.
