NCSEHE 2016 Equity Fellows Programme

Applications for the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education (NCSEHE) Equity Fellows Programme are now open.

The aim of the Equity Fellows Programme is to support Fellows to undertake strategic, high-impact, high-profile leadership projects targeted, sector-wide, at improving the access, participation and success in higher education of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The University of Newcastle (UON) with the support of CEEHE was awared two of the first Fellowships through the work of Dr Erica Southgate and Dr Cathy Stone.

CEEHE will again be supporting UON staff interested in applying for a Fellowship via the below process.

Friday 22 July:
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are to be submitted via email to CEEHE. EOI’s should contain a brief CV and brief outline (no more than 1/2 a page) of a possible project for the Fellowship.

Week starting Monday 25 July:
CEEHE Director will review EOI’s, meet with applicants to provide feedback and recommendations for developing the Fellowship application.

Friday 12 August:
Draft applications are due to CEEHE. Draft applications are required so that CEEHE can arrange for a letter of support from the Vice Chancellor. The CEEHE Director will also provide feedback on the draft application.

Monday 22 August:
CEEHE Director will provide feedback on the draft.

Tuesday 30 August:
Final applications due to CEEHE.
