Latest issue of Journal released
The latest issue of the International Studies in Widening Participation (ISWP) Journal is now available.
Featuring important articles from contributors across the Australian higher education sector, this issue focusses on the theme of ‘success and opportunity in challenging times’.
The innovative contributions cover issues as diverse as ‘bringing refugees to the forefront of equity targets in Australian higher education’ (Sladek and King) to ‘developing multiple exit pathways within undergraduate courses’ (Harvey and Szalkowicz).
The ISWP Journal is open access and aims to encourage topical and critical debate about significant issues relating to widening educational participation across the globe.
Article submissions are double blind peer reviewed with a comparatively fast publication process and the high quality of research articles featured make an important contribution for researchers and professionals in widening participation.
The Journal is seeking articles of interest for the next issue to be published at the end of the year. If you are interested in making an article submission, please email ISWP@newcastle.edu.au.
Visit newcastle.edu.au/wideningparticipation for more information or to subscribe.
The journal is a collaborative effort by the English Language and Foundation Studies Centre and the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
