Dr Amy Maguire finalist in Women in Law Awards
University of Newcastle Academic Dr Amy Maguire has been announced as a finalist in the Women In Law Awards.
These Lawyers Weekly annual awards recognise the achievements of women who have challenged, influenced or changed the practice of law in Australia.
Dr Amy Maguire is a finalist in the 2016 Academic of the Year category – with the winner announced on October 27 at a black tie gala event in Melbourne.
The awards are now in their fifth year and continue to celebrate the diversity of achievements of women in law in Australia.
