The Faculty of Business and Law Research Showcase Event

The Faculty of Business and Law celebrated its annual Research Showcase Launch recently with staff, Research Higher Degree students and local professionals coming together to celebrate the excellent research happening within the Faculty.

Nearly 100 people gathered in the University gallery to view posters and chat to researchers about the latest and greatest projects. The poster winners are listed below.

Best Poster:  Margurite Hook, PhD (Management) Candidate for the poster titled, 'Investigating children's participation in 'Minecraft' and computer game communities'   

Best RHD Poster:  Parvaneh Pirani, PhD (Management) Candidate for the poster titled, 'How do organisational CSR practices influence employee's perceptions of the organisation?'

People's Choice Award: Albina Kartavtceva, PhD (Politics) Candidate for the poster titled, 'Political PR - Persuasion or Propaganda'

Packer's Prize: Kcasey McLoughlin, Law Lecturer & Bronwyn McDonald, PhD (Politics) Candidate for the poster titled, 'Accepted Wisdom About the Politics of Abortion: Miscalculating the Strength of Civil Rights'
