The University of Newcastle and its community pays respect to the victims of MH17 on this national day of mourning.
With the rest of the nation, we honour the 298 victims of the recent tragedy.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives and acknowledge the great sadness felt by many communities around Australia and the world.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
