Improving the mental and physical wellbeing of the seriously ill
Internationally-renowned psychologist, Professor Prasuna Reddy of the University of Newcastle will tonight tell a Newcastle audience how the medical care of people with serious mental illness could be improved.
Professor Reddy is Director of the University’s Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health in Orange. Her research career has focused on the critical link between a person’s mental and physical health.
Tonight she will also address how to improve the mental health of people with chronic disease.
