Occupational health Professor awarded medal
he University of Newcastle’s Professor Derek Smith has been awarded a Medal for Outstanding Services to the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine (ACTM).
The ACTM is the pre-eminent organisation in the Australasian region representing professional interests in tropical medicine and has awarded only eight Medals for Outstanding Services to the College in its 20 year history.
