Young community and business leaders on the Central Coast have the opportunity to win $10,000 to help develop their careers, by entering the University of Newcastle Leadership Award.
People from the age of 25 to 39 years, who live and work in the Central Coast, Hunter and Mid North Coast can nominate for the annual award.
The winner will receive a $10,000 leadership development scholarship to develop their professional and leadership skills.
“Today’s young leaders are the key to a strong future for our region. This is why investing in our young people today is vital for the community to reap rewards tomorrow,” University of Newcastle Pro Vice-Chancellor Central Coast campus, Professor Stephen Crump, said.
“Nominees for the University of Newcastle Leadership Awards need to demonstrate initiative, creativity and dedication in their professional and community lives.”
The University of Newcastle Leadership Award is a partnership between the University and FordComm.
