Newcastle Conservatorium will open its doors to the public on Sunday 14 November.

The Community Music Open Day will start at 10am and will feature more than 30 demonstrations, rehearsals, workshops and information sessions on early childhood music, composition and vocal tuition available in 2011.

Current students will provide live performances in the Concert Hall foyer throughout the day. A barbecue, snack bar, coffee and free face painting will be available. The day will end with a concert in the Harold Lobb Hall at 4pm. Seats are limited.
