The Central Coast campus at Ourimbah has been closed due to flooding and classes have been cancelled until it is safe for people to enter the campus.

Students who were required to submit an assignment today have been given an extension until Tuesday 8 June 2010 at 10am.

If you feel that your examination preparation has been disrupted by the closure of the Central Coast campus today please submit an application for special consideration at https://intraweb.newcastle.edu.au/sc/Pages/Login.aspx.

The Central Coast campus Library will be closed today and tomorrow, and the situation will be assessed on Sunday morning. Please check the Library blog at http://uonlib.wordpress.com/ or phone 4348 4020 for an update.

Please also monitor your student email account and the University website as the situation at Ourimbah will be assessed over the next few days and alternative venues may need to be used for examinations, which commence on Monday 7 June 2010.
