Tapping into water expertise
The University's top water experts will discuss the latest in research at the 32nd Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium to be held in Newcastle this week.
The Symposium is the national conference in water resources and will feature 22 papers from members of the University's Centre for Climate Impact Management, led by Professor Garry Willgoose.
Topics include measuring and modelling how water is used inside and outside houses, the challenges of estimating drought risk in a changing climate, and the better management of urban water through improved mathematical techniques.
The conference runs from Tuesday 1 - Thursday 3 December 2009 at Newcastle City Hall. See http://www.h2009.org.au/ for more information.
