Senior Lecturer in Politics, Dr John Tate, has written a play covering the entire career of the former Australian Prime Minister from his election to the seat of Bennelong to his election loss in 2007.

Senior Lecturer in Politics, Dr John Tate, has written a play covering the entire career of the former Australian Prime Minister from his election to the seat of Bennelong to his election loss in 2007.

Characters include Tony Abbott (who is the compere), Paul Keating, Pauline Hanson, Kim Beazley, Kerry O'Brien, Peter Reith and Virginia Trioli.

Like "Keating! The Musical" it ends with a song.

Entitled Relaxed and Comfortable: The Rise and Fall of John Howard, the play will receive a reading from the Newcastle Theatre Company at 2pm on Saturday 14 November 2009 to determine if they will include the play in their 2011 season.
