Honorary professorship for leading reproductive scientist

World-renowned reproductive scientist, Professor Keith Jones, has been awarded the highly prestigious Bingzhi Professorship from the Institute of Zoology in China.

World-renowned reproductive scientist, Professor Keith Jones, has been awarded the highly prestigious Bingzhi Professorship from the Institute of Zoology in China.

The honorary professorship is named after the pioneer Chinese biologist, Professor Bingzhi, the founder of the Institute of Zoology in China.

Professor Jones is in Beijing visiting the Institute of Zoology at the Chinese Academy of Science as part of a travel fellowship from the Australian Academy of Science.

Professor Jones' work is focused on finding ways to stop the adverse effects of ageing on women's reproductive health. He holds the Chair in Human Physiology and is Co-Director of the Priority Research Centre for Reproductive Science at the University of Newcastle.
