The University of Newcastle has launched its first electronic journal

'Popular Entertainment Studies' is the only interdisciplinary journal devoted to this area of scholarship that is available nationally or internationally.
Two issues will be published each year under the direction of General Editor Professor Victor Emeljanow and Associate Editor Dr Gillian Arrighi, from the School of Drama, Fine Art and Music (incorporating The Conservatorium).
'Popular Entertainment Studies' is a peer-reviewed, open access journal. It is currently calling for papers for its inaugural edition.
