'Picturing Ourimbah' winners announced

Up-and-coming artists from three Central Coast high schools have taken out the top prizes in the 'Picturing Ourimbah' photographic competition.

Up-and-coming artists from three Central Coast high schools have taken out the top prizes in the 'Picturing Ourimbah' photographic competition.

Held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Central Coast campus at Ourimbah, the winners were announced during a day of celebrations last Friday.

Central Coast Watercolour Society prize

For a two-dimensional work of art of a scene at the Ourimbah campus (traditional media) - years 7, 8 and 9 students:

Winner: Samantha Jensen, Narara Valley High
Runner up: Julia Lee, Henry Kendall High
Honourable mention: Courtney Ziedin and Sam O'Brien, Central Coast Grammar

Central Coast Art Society prize

For a two-dimensional work of art of a scene at the Ourimbah campus (traditional media) - years 10, 11 and 12 students:

Winner: Alison Rogers, Narara Valley High
Runner Up: Emma Stewart, Narara Valley

John Ralph Camera House prizes

For a photographic image of a scene at the Ourimbah campus - years 7, 8 and 9 students:

Winner: Sebastian King, Narara Valley High
Runner Up: Hugo Fanich, Narara Valley

For a photographic image of a scene at the Ourimbah campus - years 10, 11 and 12 students:

Winner: James Sell, Narara Valley High
Runner Up: Kiera Fraser, Northlakes High
Honourable Mention : Ban Al-Attaliah and Jessica Watson, Henry Kendall High
