University of Newcastle student Amanda Gardner has picked up a Minister's Student Achiever Award in Tourism and Hospitality Studies.
The award presented by the NSW Minister for Tourism, Jodi McKay, in partnership with Tourism NSW and Tourism Training Australia, recognises the potential of outstanding tourism and hospitality students.
23-year-old Amanda said she was honoured to receive the award that would boost her CV and set her apart from other candidates when looking for full-time employment in the tourism industry.
Amanda is currently completing a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree exploring the emerging field of volunteer tourism.
