The Newcastle University United Nations Society is compiling a delegation of students to attend the annual Asia Pacific Model United Nations Conference and would like to open the invitation to other students who may not be members.

The Conference is to be held from the 12th - 17th July 2009 at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.

AMUNC is a unique tertiary conference where you will have the opportunity to represent a nation on one of 16 fast-paced UN committees, including some exciting new innovations such as the Crisis Council and International Press Gallery. Together, over five days you and your fellow delegates will debate and negotiate to find solutions to two pressing global issues.

You will have the opportunity to network and interact with like-minded individuals from all around the world. You can also look forward to experiencing the best of Brisbane's nightlife, with an eclectic mix of social events, including multicultural dinners, a global dance festival, music and comedy showcase, global village cocktail cruise, and finally, celebrating the end of the week with a lavish gala ball.

Please contact Nina Rossi at newuns@gmail.com if you would like to be a part of the Newcastle Delegation.
