The University of Newcastle Gallery will host the works of three Bachelor of Fine Art Honours students in its latest exhibition.

Caelli Jo Brooker, winner of the Brian and Rohma Cummins Award (2007) for painting, investigates the significance of the mark - the gesture made by the artist's hand. Ceramic artist Faith Bull expresses aspects of her own personality through sculptures of medieval beasts.

Carla Feltham works in photomedia to depict her immediate environment. Carla is the winner of the 2008 Jenny Thomas Travelling Scholarship and recently exhibited at the Wilson Street Gallery in Sydney.

The works will be on display in The University Gallery from Tuesday 28 October - Saturday 15 November 2008. The University Gallery is open Wednesday to Friday from 12 - 6pm and Saturday 2 - 5pm.

The exhibition will be officially opened at 6pm on Friday 31 October 2008 by Dr Angela Philp from the School of Drama, Fine Art and Music (incorporating The Conservatorium) and University Art Curator Ms Gillean Shaw.
