Tune in to see Chamber Choir compete

The University of Newcastle's Chamber Choir will battle against the nation's best in Prime's Battle Of The Choirs this Sunday.

The award-winning Chamber Choir will compete against three other choirs for a spot in the quarter finals of the new television series competition.

The challenging competition will see the Choir move away from its classical roots and perform rock music. The Choir will then be judged on its technical ability, cohesion, presentation and entertainment value.

At the end of the knock-out competition, the winning choir will receive $100,000 and a recording deal with Universal Music.

Battle Of The Choirs airs on Prime at 7.30pm on Sundays. The University of Newcastle's Chamber Choir will appear on Sunday 6 July 2008.
