Fourteen undergraduate Malaysian students receiving scholarships to study programs in the University of Newcastle's Faculty of Business and Law were recognised at a reception last week.
The scholarships, awarded on the basis of academic merit, are funded through the University's International Division. The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Business and Law, Professor Stephen Nicholas has approved five additional scholarships to be offered to Malaysian students next semester.
The scholarships are just one example of the University's support for international students wishing to study in Australia. Local students also have an opportunity to study overseas. For more information visit www.international.newcastle.edu.au/exchange/index.html
