Students from the University of Newcastle Singapore campus are gearing up for the second Annual Student Ball.

Students from the University of Newcastle Singapore campus are gearing up for the second Annual Student Ball.

To be held on Saturday 14 June, the ball is being sponsored by the University, PSB Academy and the Faculties that provide programs at the Singapore campus. The night is primarily being organised by students at the Singapore campus.

The purpose of the Ball is to recognise achievements and celebrate the relationships between the University of Newcastle, its partner PSB Academy and the students enrolled in the various programmes offered by the University at the Singapore campus and PSB Academy.

A feature of this year's Ball will be recognizing the contribution of Professor Tim Roberts, who is retiring as Dean of the Singapore Campus and CEO of UoN Singapore Pte Ltd, to the development of the Singapore campus.

The inaugural ball in 2007 attracted 170 students, staff and friends. This year ticket sales have already reached 270 and are almost sold out. Visitors attending the ball will include Alumni Chapter Executives from Botswana, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore & Australia.
