Works by Bachelor of Fine Arts students from the disciplines of drawing and painting will be displayed at The University Gallery, Callaghan campus, from 25 June to 11 July in the lead up to the annual Brian and Rohma Cummins Awards.

Dr Brian Cummins is an Architect who undertook a PhD in Fine Art in 2004. Impressed by the comradeship of the staff and students in the School, he and his wife Rohma decided to instigate an annual award that would provide incentive for the development of painting and drawing skills which Dr Cummins believes is the foundation of all art practice.

Awards will be presented on Friday 4 July at 6pm and there will also be a free drawing workshop on Saturday 5 July from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Bookings are essential as numbers are limited. Please phone Gillean Shaw.
