People interested in studying at the University of Newcastle have until tomorrow to apply for mid-year entry.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Services), Dr Sue Gould, said successful applicants would be able to start their degree next month.
Guaranteed entry in selected programs is available for students who have successfully completed one of the University's enabling programs - Open Foundation, Newstep and Yapug - and TAFE graduates with a completed Certificate III level or higher.
Dr Gould said the University had some of the highest graduate starting salaries in Australia.
"Data from the Australian Graduate Survey 2007 shows that the median annual starting salary for our bachelor degree graduates aged under 25 is $43,500."
"Graduates of all our programs leave with a professional outlook and a career-ready profile," Dr Gould said.
Applications for mid-year entry close tomorrow, Friday 13 June 2008. Apply online at the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) website at www.uac.edu.au
