Healthy Heart Week keeps beating on!

The response to this week's Healthy Heart checks has been very strong. Not only were all venues fully booked, there were so many staff making enquiries that more sessions have been planned to cater for the waiting lists.

The response to this week's Healthy Heart checks has been very strong. Not only were all venues fully booked, there were so many staff making enquiries that more sessions have been planned to cater for the waiting lists.

Already over 100 people have had their blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol levels checked and discussed their diet with qualified experts from NUsport. In return each participant has received a summary information sheet and guidance about the next steps on achieving a healthier heart.

The next two heart check sessions in Newcastle are already fully booked but registrations are still opened for sessions on Monday 19 May at The Forum and Tuesday 20 May in the ICT building.

A full day is planned for Central Coast staff in late May and staff at Port Macquarie can also register to take part in the program locally.

To register or to find out more Cecilia White.

For those who can't make one of these days, just let Cecilia know your availability and she'll put you on the path towards a healthier heart.
