The University will hold its annual Reconciliation Scholarship Dinner Dance on Friday 30 May in the Starlight Room, Wests Club, 88 Hobart Road, New Lambton.

The aim of the event is to raise funds for the establishment of lifelong perpetual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship Fund at the University of Newcastle. The University is working towards a $1 million fund that will support students through full-time study. The fund is designed to assist Indigenous students who are not eligible for Commonwealth support, and who could not continue tertiary studies without financial support.
