More than 90 organisations will attend the University's annual Careers and Employer Expo this week.

Ms Susan Eade from the University's Career Service said the Expo provided vital links between students and prospective employers.

"It enables students to speak directly to employers about job opportunities," she said.

"It is particularly pleasing to have a large number of employers that are keen to meet with our students despite the global financial downturn."

Photo opportunity: The Careers and Employer Expo will be held on Friday, 27 March in the Great Hall, Newcastle campus (Callaghan). Business, humanities, IT and legal employers will be on hand from 10.30am - 1pm. Design, engineering and science employers will follow from 2pm - 4pm.
