Revamped lunchtime concerts underway at the Con

The University of Newcastle's 2008 lunchtime concert series has been launched with the series reflecting Professor Richard Vella's new vision for the Conservatorium.

Expanding on the Conservatorium's repertoire, the 2008 series draws on a wider range of styles including classical, jazz, funk, world and multimedia.

This week jazz, world and hybrid music will feature in the Alternative Music Concert at 1pm in the Harold Lobb Concert Hall, at the University of Newcastle's Conservatorium.
