The Newcastle University Choir is co-hosting the 59 Australian Intervarsity Choral Festival. More than 120 singers from across the nation will attend the festival and participate in the Visions of Australia concert on Friday 25 January 2008.

The Visions of Australia concert will feature Newcastle's A Grade Band, the Waratah Brass, and will be supported by two grand pianos and the magnificent digital organ in the University of Newcastle's Great Hall. The concert will be conducted by Mr Brett Weymark, the Artistic Director of the Sydney Philharmonic Choirs.
