Belinda Munn
The University of Newcastle is pleased to welcome Belinda Munn as Manager, Equity and Diversity. Belinda brings with her a wealth of experience from her work with the Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW and the AIDS Council of NSW. Her appointment follows the retirement of Glynis Wattus.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Kevin McConkey said Glynis leaves the University following many years of distinguished contribution.
"I am sure everyone will join me in thanking Glynis for her sustained commitment to equity and diversity, and for her tireless work in advancing equity objectives for staff and students," Professor McConkey said.
"Her contribution across all equity areas, especially those involving women and students from low socio-economic backgrounds, has produced strong and sustainable outcomes.
"Glynis' achievements are highly regarded here and across the sector, and I wish her well in life beyond the University of Newcastle."
