This new exhibition at The University Gallery is an overview of the University collection since the 1950s. It includes works representing University history, Hunter region sites and history, country and Indigenous spirituality, and artists celebrated in their fields.
The exhibition will feature 'Art Bites' - free talks at The University Gallery open to the public. Presenters include Professor John Maynard, Head, Wollotuka School of Aboriginal Studies (29 November 12.30pm); Gael Davies, independent art adviser and valuer (30 November 12.30pm); Alexia Sinclair, Master of Fine Arts student (5 December 12.30pm); Angela Philp, lecturer, art history and theory, School of Drama and Fine Art (incorporating the Conservatorium) (6 December 12.30pm); and Virna Rodoriguez, University Art Curator (6 December 1pm).
