The Auchmuty Library is exhibiting a range of historic photographs held in its Cultural Collections as part of NSW History Week.
There are thousands of photographs from school, university, workplace, society and home archives, many of which are unidentified. As part of History Week, we are running a competition to identify as many of the faces in the photos as possible.
Staff are invited to visit the exhibition and see if you recognise any faces. There are three categories of prizes - a lucky draw, the most number of people or places identified, and one for the most interesting story or discovery about a photo.
Early identifications of a 1960s photograph of a National Student Representative's conference held in Newcastle include some well-know faces including Justice Michael Kirby, and Sir Geoffrey Robertson, QC.

The exhibition is open from September 17 - 22, in the Cultural Collections Foyer at the Auchmuty Library.
