Women in Engineering

Engineering students and staff will discuss the different perspectives females can bring to the traditionally male dominated field at a 'Women in Engineering' seminar this week.

Engineering students and staff will discuss the different perspectives females can bring to the traditionally male dominated field at a 'Women in Engineering' seminar this week.

Guest speakers, Ms Rachel Brown, a surveyor from Harper Sommers O'Sullivan, and Ms Linda Bower, an electrical engineer from Thales Australia, will discuss their experiences in the field.

Students in Years 11 and 12, parents and teachers are invited to attend the seminar on Thursday 23 August from 1.30pm - 2.30pm in room ES309 in the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Callaghan campus.
