Drama students present Love Potions

Students from the University of Newcastle's School of Drama, Fine Art and Music will next week present the modern Australian drama - Love Potions.

Written by Australian playwright Alana Valentine, Love Potions combines three modern love stories told through strikingly real and moving dialogue.

Director Elizabeth Smyth said she planned the production as a lush feast for the senses. "The set design of rich colours provides a backdrop for the interaction of some beautifully drawn and very real characters." All cast and crew are students at the University of Newcastle.

Love Potions will be performed in the Drama Studio at the University's Callaghan campus at 1pm on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 March and 6.30pm on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 March 2007. For enquiries, contact Foveaux Kirby on 02 4921 8665 or Sue Bowcock on 02 4921 5001.
