Dr Peter Droege's latest book is a blueprint for urban transformation, to help cities and towns address climate change through the introduction of renewable energy.
The guide supports design, planning and management decisions for practitioners, academics and political leaders in communities and cities worldwide.
Dr Droege is an eminent urban designer and Conjoint Professor in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Newcastle.
His book will be launched by the Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, Cr Chris Harris, and Professor Michael Ostwald, Dean of Architecture, the University of Newcastle.
