Feet in motion

The University of Newcastle has appointed Dr Vivienne Chuter as the first member of its new podiatry program. Vivienne's main research interest is in gait analysis, in particular, how foot motion and muscle function in the lower limb are affected by footwear and arch supports.

The University's new podiatry program starts in 2007, at the Ourimbah campus.
