From medicine to journalism, architecture to law, the University of Newcastle Information Day has the answers to all the questions for those planning to dive into a degree.
The University will open its doors to prospective students on Saturday 10 September 2005 at the Callaghan campus for its annual Information Day.
Kicking off at 10am and running till 3pm, the day boasts a vast array of demonstrations and Faculty presentations.
Representatives from Business and Law, Education and Arts, Science and Information Technology, Engineering and Built Environment, and Health will be on hand during the day to provide information to future students.
"This is an important opportunity for prospective students to learn about the University and gain answers to any questions they may have about programs, admission, fees, scholarships, accommodation and social and sporting clubs," says Susan Eade, the University's Student Recruitment, Careers and Employment Manager.
The day will feature interactive displays including the famous gyro chair, polarisation and holograms to marvel at, world class soccer playing robotic dogs and health assessments such as blood pressure, strength and balancing tests.
A shuttle bus will take prospective students around the Callaghan campus every half-hour allowing stop offs at on-campus accommodation and the Forum Sports and Aquatic Centre for NUSport's Open Day.
